Tips For Losing Weight

Sorry I have been a little busy with life so I have not been able to post anything lately! 

Today I am going to give some pointers and tips about fat loss and the process that it is. Now, I know everyone wants to lose the fat that they have to get shredded and be healthier but you MUST know that it is a process and a journey that will take time and consistency mixed with dedication.

The healthy and recommended guide line with pounds lost is 1-2 pounds per week, as per ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) guidelines. This also allows for weight to stay off easier. The reason being is if you lose 10 pounds in a week, one, it is not healthy, and two, you will have a higher chance of bingeing on foods that are unhealthy and three, is that the amount that you lost is a HUGE shock on your body and it will not be able to have an adequate amount of time to adjust properly.

Another tip that makes weight loss "easier" is just focus on being HEALTHY. Do not focus on the scale too much. Unless you need to lose 200 pounds to survive. Also, remember that muscle weighs more than fat. So if you are active and eating healthy, you will be losing weight but gaining muscle so the scale may not change much, if at all, but you still are burning fat! So take it easy on yourself mentally over this. It is a journey and it will take time! Just never give up and keep working towards your goals of being happier, healthier, and stronger!
